The single which secured the 80th spot on the Weekly Chart is a collaborative effort of Amaarae, Molly & American songstress, Kali Uchi. She is Ghana’s first artist to be featured on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Ama Serwah Genfi (born July 4, 1994), known professionally as Amaarae, is a Ghanaian-American singer, songwriter, producer, and engineer known for her work around representation of gender and race in music.

According to a tweet by the official Billboard chart account, the record has earned Amaarae and Moliy their first career entries on the chart.

“I stand for African women before I stand for anything else. I’m just trying to free the girls, for real. Every milestone is a shared victory, and another door kicked in for us,” Amaarae said in a tweet expressing her excitement on the news.
