According to the management, Made in Taadi Concert V will take off in the first week of December with an event dubbed “Corporate Highlife Show.” This gig will be held at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill in Accra on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

“Carefully selected Highlife artistes together with the headliner, Kofi Kinaata have been billed to give patrons a memorable experience,” parts of the statement issued on Thursday read.

Next on the programme line-up is the “Capacity Building Seminar”.

Known in real life as Martin King Arthur, the Efiakuma indigene seeks to give back to society by impacting the lives of the youth in his hometown. Thus, he has set up this session to engage the younger ones back at home on the requisite life and career development skills needed to succeed.

The seminar, which has been themed “Untapped Opportunities in a Pandemic Era”, will be the second time featuring in the Made in Taadi Concert after debuting in 2020. It is scheduled to come off on Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Climaxing the concert will be the main event which will “see the performances from some of Ghana’s finest music talents” on Friday, December 24.

This program provides warm meals and food boxes to hundreds of homeless and underprivileged men, women, and children in the city of Accra. They do this through bimonthly food distributions, monthly food box distributions as well as clothing donations, and health screening exercises.

This incredible charity concert is  to raise funds  to sustain and expand one of the flagship charitable projects which is the ‘Mobile Shelter Program’ that’s aimed at feeding the homeless and underprivileged beneficiaries in Accra.

The event will be a night of live music, with some of the finest jazz, soul & highlife artists performing. Expect live sets from the likes of Adina Thembi, Trigmatic & Susan Augustt and the Adorkor band amongst others. This concert will be one major step towards achieving this target with all proceeds going into the mobile shelter fund.

The target of GHS 100,000 will go into acquiring a food van to expand donations, as well as putting up an Ahaban shelter which would store donations and package the meals and boxes that go out to beneficiaries.

Osagyefo’s Night is a the start of an annual concert to be held on the eve of Nkrumah’s birthday which also happens to be a national holiday in Ghana. The concert is to celebrate the life, legacy and values that Nkrumah believed in.

Trigmatic will take guests on a musical journey, performing songs from his own catalogue as well as that of other African greats like Fela Kuti, Hugh Masekela & Youssou Ndour. There will also be performances from guests artists, Kankam, Sollo 7, Yaa Yaa & new acts MaaYaa as well as saxophonist Ekow Joe.

In a move to bring artists closer to their fans, aftown has launched its own acoustic concert series, dubbed the aftown sessions. The aftown sessions seeks to bring together 100 + music lovers for an acoustic concert starring some of their favorite music acts.
