Paapa’s new EP ‘Technical Difficulties 2’ is available for streaming and download on Aftown. The Hip Hop-themed project…

Paapa’s new EP ‘Technical Difficulties 2’ is available for streaming and download on Aftown.

The Hip Hop-themed project features collaborations with Rapper M.anifest, Singer Efya, Spoken Word Artist, Akotowaa and Rapper & Producer, JaySo.

it is the second of a series of EPs to be released by the Skillions Records artiste.

Paapa shared with us in a recent interview why he decided on a Hip Hop theme for the new EP.

“I think of myself as a musical artist, painting different images and conveying different messages through musical textures, canvases and what-not. I think Hip-Hop was the perfect canvas to communicate the things I wanted to get across, and I’ve always loved Hip-Hop. Plus, Hip-Hop is undoubtedly the musical language of the day, so there was no way I could get through this EP series without channeling the Hip-Hop Paapa.”

The title of the EP series was influenced by “glitches and imperfections in a system, be it a live music show, computer software, whatever, it describes the things standing in the way of perfection,” explains Paapa.

“Technical Difficulties is a project about frustration, pain, conflict, reconciliation, and forgiveness. It is an imperfect musical journey of themes I’ve wrestled with as a growing imperfect Christian man, living with and loving imperfect people in the shadow of God’s perfect grace and mercy.”

Paapa has two albums to his credit –‘Solar’ and ‘Songs For Kukua.’ He is celebrated for his brilliant artistry and song writing abilities.
