Asi Renie Returns With Soul Catching Single, “I’ll Be There”

Virginia born Ghanaian singer, Renie Asi Bampoe Abu, well known as Asi Renie has released a captivating new song titled “I’ll be there”.

Judging by the tone of the music, this is the singer’s way of connecting emotionally with her fans.

“I’ll be there is the assurance of one’s availability to another and this speaks to everyone in a very unique way”.

The 2:59 seconds long r&b/soul song was released a few days ago and comes in two parts; the original version and the acoustic version.

Asi Renie has been known for music since 2019 with songs like Love Riddim and in 2020 with her “Chapter V album.

King Promise Unveils Track-list For Upcoming Album

Multifaceted Ghanaian musician, Gregory Bortey Newman, best known as King Promise, signed to Legacy Life Entertainment and known for several songs like ‘hey sexy’, ‘Selfish’, ‘Bra’ just to mention a few a couple of days ago, took to his official social media pages to announce the completion of his next album.

The upcoming project, “5 Star”, comes 2 years after his debut album “As Promised” which did incredible on streaming platforms. It had hits like ‘hangover’, ‘commando’ and ‘my lady’.

‘5 Star’ is set to be released on July 22, 2022 on all music streaming platforms, according to him in a tweet on his verified Twitter account.

Ice Prince Announces Release Date For First Single Of The Year

Ice Prince Zamani has announced that he will be releasing his first single of 2022 on 22nd June.

In a Twitter post by Ice Prince on Friday June 17, Ice Prince revealed that the single titled ‘Hustle’ featuring Seyi Vibez and Ceeza Milli is only a week away from being released.

Ice Prince has been in the music industry for over a decade giving great sounds and lyrics throughout his career.

He last year released “Kolo” which featured Oxlade, and “Make up your mind” which also featured Tekno. Both songs did very well on streaming platforms.

Davido Announces The Release Of Two Upcoming Singles

Davido announced on his Twitter page the release date of his upcoming single which features CKay and Focalistic, and another single with American rapper, Dababy, a week after.

Falz D Bad Guy Drops “Bahd”

Multi-talented Nigerian rapper, activist and actor Falz D Bahd Guy on Thursday June 9, 2022 released his album ‘BAHD’.

The 13-track afropop and hip hop album saw the works of incredible producers Duktor Sett, Yung Willis, Chilz, Louda, Cavemen, Blaisebeatz, SESS and Le Mav.

The album features The Cavemen, Timaya, BNXN, LAX, Chike, Boy Spice and Tiwa Savage.

Falz has released four albums in the past; ‘Wazup Guy’ in 2014, ‘Stories That Touch’ in 2015, ‘27‘ in 2017 and ‘Moral Instruction’ in 2019. ‘BAHD’ is his fifth album.

Young Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Ayra Starr, premiered her new single, “Ase” on Colors Show, on Tuesday 7th, June, 2022.

The song “Ase”, speaks about Gen’s feeling of revulsion for societal double standards and hypocrisy.

Ayra taped into her Yoruba heritage in this new single, and drew inspiration from Yoruba folk music which blends with pop element.

In performance at the Colors Show were Doja Cat, Jorja Smith, Flo Mille, D Smoke and a couple other artistes.

Kizz Daniel Releases Barnabas EP

Nigerian singer and songwriter Kizz Daniel has finally released his highly anticipated new Extended Play (EP) titled ‘Barnabas’.

The EP went live across digital platforms at midnight of November 19, 2021, as earlier scheduled.

Barnabas EP houses 7 tracks with a runtime of 21 minutes. Kizz Daniel features two artists: The Caveman and Kelvyn Colt.

The EP has been described by Apple Music as “an experimental, genre-bending collection of songs of encouragement.” While announcing the project a few weeks ago, Kizz Daniel said it would feed music lovers “body, mind and soul this season.”

It houses the still buzzing hit love song ‘Lie’ which is track number 6.

Popular Ghanaian record producer, PAQ releases beautiful single tagged ‘Alarm’

Paq is known for producing songs for artistes including; Shatta Wale, Guru, Wiper, Edem, Kwaw Kese,Yaa Pono, Gasmilla, Magnom, Lord Paper, Skonti, Mr. Eazi, among others. On how he started his career in music production, Paq revealed that “at the age of 13, I got a copy of the fruity loops software and began experimenting with it. I was always on my computer exploring and trying to create music. It was at the age of 17 years when I decided to go commercial and started working from various studios.”

Paq is the creative brain who has mastered the ability to combine divergent and convergent thinking skills to continually produce innovative and novel ideas. He is a true creative marked not only by his critical thinking skills but also by his ability to conceptualize, create and implement.

When asked on what ‘Alarm’ meant to him the record producer said ”Alarm is a song I wrote to motivate anybody going through hard times.
