Celebrated Ghanaian Sound Engineer, Kuvie has shared a secret on how to gain airplay on mainstream radio.

On early Thursday morning, he shared his thoughts as the first guest on #AftownConvos, a chat powered by streaming service, Aftown.

“More concise planning with their roll-out and networking with radio personalities. That’s how I did it.” replied Kuvie on steps new age Ghanaian artistes can take to enjoy airplay on mainstream media.

He also spoke about not getting the recognition he deserves for being the force behind “the New Ghanaian sound.

“Yh that one dey. Of course Id feel someone. But then I remember that I also need to put more effort in the image because they know the name, not the face. So we working on that.”

Sarkodie, Joey B, Vision DJ, E.L and Pappy Kojo are some of the artistes he has produced songs for.

He earned a ‘Producer of the Year’ nomination at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards.
