Ghanaian music stars Kidi, Amaarae and Gyakie found their names in the nominees list of this year’s awards, which was released today Tuesday May 24, 2022.
All three singers were nominated for the Best West African Artiste Of The Year category. This category seem to be a competitive one as it comprises of the likes of Aya Nakamura from Mali, Angelique Kidjo from Benin and Nelson Freitas from Cape Verde.
In the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, all three took home awards each from different categories. it was however a bigger win for Kidi this year who landed the ultimate award of all, The Artiste of the Year.
It is hoped that one of these stars brings the award home.
